
Restaurante Maryvilla was opened in 1990 by master chef Werner Esser. It is situated in the middle of the urbanisation Maryvilla. To find our restaurant, traveling from Altea to Calpe on the N332 ca. 165.5 km, 500m after the tunnels is the entrance to Maryvilla. After 100m you will see the signs “Restaurant Maryvilla” and then it’s about 2km to the restaurant.
When coming from Calpe you follow the signs for urbanisation Maryvilla, from the Puerto Blanco you take the road up the mountain. Any road you take will bring you to the restaurant. We have parking in front of the restaurant and a beautiful view to the Penon de Ifach. In May we open our outdoor terrace and the palm garden, which is a very romantic location especially when there is a full moon.
In the evening you can choose between three menus and “a la carte”. In the springtime it’s the time of asparagus, in summer it’s lobster and in winter it’s deer. For your starter you have a choice of salads, homemade soups, ham, mussels, prawns and home smoked trout.
The international specialties are rack of lamb, duck breast in orange sauce, tournedos a la rossini and our fish like angler, sea bass, salmon and prawns. On our dessert menu we have ice creams, crepes, all kinds of coffees and digestives or even a choice of cocktails.
The menu prices are between €12 and €20 and the drinks prices are very reasonable.
For three years now we have had a kiosk next to the restaurant selling bread and croissants, German cakes, ice cream and snacks (German sausages).
Monday to Saturday we serve breakfast in the restaurant from 8:30 to 13:00. In the summer we have live music on Sundays. The kitchen is open from 18:00 to 22:00 (22:30 in summer) and is closed on Wednesdays.
